ReStore sells a variety of new and used household items, building materials, tools, and furniture. If you have something to donate, you can drop it off at the store location during business hours, or call.

We work with your donations
ReStore’s eclectic mix of unique merchandise is made possible from your generous contributions. We accept donations at our ReStore during regular business hours. ReStore also provides a free pickup service for heavy items. To schedule a pick up appointment, call (336) 985-3211 ext 106. Pick-up schedules will vary depending on request volume. Thank you for your donation and support as proceeds from ReStore helps fund homes for more hardworking families.
Donation Items We Gladly Accept
Appliances
- We accept electric appliances less than seven years old.
- Must be clean and in 100% working order with no missing parts.
- Please include owner’s manuals if available, as they add value to your donation.

Bed Frames and Rails
Doors
- Must be in GOOD condition.
- No holes, cracks, or rot.
Electrical
- We accept most electrical parts.
- Includes wires, plugs, plates, and associated hardware.
Flooring Material
- Tile, hardwood, and vinyl accepted.
- Only new carpet accepted with a minimum of 100 sq. ft.
Furniture
- Must be in good condition with no rips, tears, or stains.

- We accept hardware for doors, cabinets, gates, etc.

Kitchen Cabinets & Vanities
- Must be up-to-date and not damaged.
- Should include doors, shelving, and display racks.

- Most light fixtures accepted.
- Fluorescent bulbs and fixtures are not accepted.
Lumber • Plywood • Sheetrock • Trim
- Full and 1/2 sheets of plywood accepted.
- Full lengths of lumber accepted.
- Trim accepted if at least 6 feet long.
- No rot or nails.
Mattresses and Box Springs
- Must be in good condition with no tears or stains.

Miscellaneous
- Includes framed artwork, area rugs (free of stains/odors), decorative accents, collectibles, and antiques.

- Vanities must be in good condition and clean.
- Commodes accepted if they are very clean and not cracked.

- Must not be broken.
Final approval of all items is at the discretion of the donation pick-up driver and Habitat ReStore staff. Drivers and staff reserve the right to refuse materials based on current inventory and the item’s condition. Habitat for Humanity
Volunteer
When you volunteer at the ReStore, your generous commitment of time helps fund homes for hard-working families and positively impacts the environment through the ReStore’s reuse policy. As a volunteer you will assist customers, stock shelves, and help display merchandise. Volunteer opportunities are available Tuesday – Saturday during store hours.
If you have any questions, please email Vania Elliott, ReStore Manager, at restorestokes.manager@gmail.com. On the date that you volunteer, you will need to complete this Volunteer Release Form to bring in with you. If you are under 18, completion of the last page of the Volunteer Release Form is also required. Completed forms may also be emailed to Vania Elliott prior to your volunteer date.
